Just to let everyone know..my show will be for the month of June at the Art Sales and Rental Gallery at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia....the opening reception is on Thursday June 7th from 7 - 8:30pm ,will be sending invites when I get them printed in a couple weeks.
This painting is another work from my trip to Prince Edward Island, and another work for my show in June. I've titled the piece Low Tide , its 24 x30, Acrylic on Canvas. I loved playing with color in this work . Between the clouds in the sky to the water contrasting with the red clay it was an enjoyable piece to produce. April 2007 . Just to remind you all, feel free to leave your comments and you can click on the images to see a larger version of each photo. Sold

This piece I just completed last week and is one of the feature pieces slated to be in my show in June. The canvas was so big I couldn't fit it on my easel , instead I had sit on the floor with the canvas leaning against my work table. I haven't titled it yet. I know it will come to me eventually. Again like the red barn painting, I enjoyed playing with the shadows and light. This is from a photo I took of Halifax's Public Gardens. I wanted to show the canopy of the trees and the light playing with the path and flowers to the left. If you want to see this up close come to my show in June. This work is 48x24, Acrylic on Canvas. April 2007. Sold
This painting had been in my studio unfinished for about 2 months. Then one afternoon in January I finished the work. I enjoyed playing with the light and shadow especially with the broken light hitting the fence posts and the silhouettes of the trees to the right, off canvas. I sold this piece before it even went on the wall in the gallery. I titled this work Light with Red Barn, its 24x18 Acrylic on Canvas . November 2006-January 2007. Sold
This is another small piece I completed from my trip to Prince Edward Island last summer. Its titled Rolling Hills and is a 12x12 Acrylic on Canvas. I hope to produce a larger work of this scene in the near future. Sold

This was a painting I did for my stepfather, he always wanted a painting with structure...I'll never forget the look on his face at Christmas. Its Early Parade Square Light . 16x16 Acrylic on Canvas, November 2005 .

Sorry for the delay in posting been busy with preparing for my show in June. This is the color study for the previous painting Family Farm. I really enjoyed this piece.
