This was fun and a huge departure from my regular subject matter. This was commissioned by my brother for a friend of his. Its 16 x 20 Acrylic on Canvas.

This one I just completed and instead of canvas tried painting on Beechwood, entirely different feeling than painting on canvas. It was only in the gallery a couple hours before it sold. I painted this barn before but wanted to paint the barn itself instead of the surrounding landscape. Its titled Red Barn Study #2 11 x 14 Acrylic on board.

After a long absence...

After a Long absence from painting I'm happy to be back to it. This was a commissioned work for an Agricultural award. I was asked to paint the winning Family's farm. Was delighted to meet the family and paint the scene. Its 18 x 24 Acrylic on Canvas.

PALM

I recently travelled to Florida and was not only captivated by the warm colors of the scenery, but also intrigued by the way light travelled through the many varieties of Palms.
In this new series of works, I wanted to capture the emotional, as well as physical warmth of some of these areas I visited. Palms will always be to me, an exotic form of landscape to experience.
