Welcome to my page , where I will post pictures of my work and write what inspired me to paint each piece. I believe all forms of art have a story and a message to tell.

This piece I just completed yesterday and I'm submitting it to hopefully be in Art Sales and Rental's annual group show on November 18th. Its titled Serene View and its 30x30 Acrylic on canvas. Its a larger version of an 8x8 colour study I sold this summer at the Chester Art Festival. I loved the composition and the curve of the dirt road. Feel free to click on the image to see a larger version.

This was completed yesterday and was a commission I did for a client. It's of the Cape Breton Highlands in Nova Scotia. The client is originally from the beautiful coastal village Cheticamp located at the foot of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. I realized and forgot how much I love painting larger works, I feel more free and less confined than painting small. Its 24 x 48, Acrylic on Canvas. I titled this work Cheticamp, Late Summer Light.

I completed this work after a brief break from painting after the passing of my Father. Who taught me a lot about art growing up. This piece is of the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. Its 12 x 16 on Beechwood Board, something new to me since I have always painted on canvas. I titled this work Valley View. It's currently at the Art Sales and Rental Gallery in Halifax, NS.
